Wool, unmanufactured, of different qualities, imported in the same bale, bag, or package, and any part thereof being worth more than 8 cents a pound, valued by appraisers, (as above,) that part shall pay a duty of 20 per cent. ad valorem. (See act September 11, 1841.)
