MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN, WH [Assented to 7th May, 1900.] HEREAS it appears by a Message from IIis Excellency Preamble. the Right Honourable Sir Gilbert John Elliot, Earl of Minto, Governor General of Canada, and the estimates accompanying the same, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the public service of Canada, not otherwise provided for, for the financial year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred: May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be enacted. and be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, that : 1. This Act may be cited as The Appropriation Act (No. 1), Short title. 1900. 2.
