Members are admitted to all entertainments, and have the privileges of the clubhouses, games, and library, free of charge.

There were given 454 band concerts, 141 motion-picture shows, 38 baseball

games, and 5 theatrical performances.

The expenditure from post fund for amusements and welfare of members amounted to $10,074.37, a per capita of $15.72, figured on the average present:

MEDICAL DEPARTMENT

The hospital is divided into 27 wards and has a capacity for 361 patients. Quarters for convalescents provide for 114 and tubercular cottage for 43 patients. There are 4 assistant surgeons, 7 female trained nurses, and 2 male nurses. On June 30 there were 167 patients in hospital, 106 sick in quarters, and 38 members at sick call. There were 194 vacant beds in hospital on that date.

The appropriation for farm includes expenditures in the upkeep of roads, cemeteries, lawns, parks, greenhouses, flower gardens, stables, dairies, feeds, purchases of all animals, and all supplies used and services required in connection with these places.
