MEDICAL DEPARTMENT The treatment hospital is divided into 4 wards, and has a capacity for 122 patients. Annex No. 1 is divided into 2 wards and has a capacity for 31 patients. Annex No. 2 (reception hospital) is divided into 7 wards and has a capacity for 139 patients. The neuropsychiatric tuberculosis unit has a capacity for 80 patients. Eleven cottages, each divided into 3 wards, with a total capcity for 720 patients. There are 16 assistant surgeons, including 2 dental surgeons; 1 bacteriologist; 1 laboratory technician; 45 female trained nurses; 150 male attendants; 6 physiotherapists; 1 director of athletics; and 11 occupational therapy aids. On June 30 there were 1,051 patients present, of whom 983 were members and 68 T. A. P. men. There were 41 vacant beds for patients on that date, of which 6 were in treatment hospital, 7 in reception hospital, 11 in neuropsychiatrictuberculosis unit, and 17 in cottage group.
