The reservation comprises 1,735 acres, of which 50 acres are included in lawns, 10 miles of roadways, parks, and cemetery, and 500 devoted to farm and gardening; the balance, 1,185 acres, comprise woodlands, etc. A dairy is operated with 36 milch cows, 24 other cattle in herd. There are 52 buildings on the reservation, including 7 barracks, 6 brick and 1 frame, maximum capacity 954 members; 2 hospital buildings, both frame, maximum capacity 361 patients; and 43 other buildings, including storehouses, mess hall, power house, theater, chapels, library, etc., of which 4 are brick and 39 frame.
