Sua Alteza Real o Principe Regente de Portugal Se obriga a adoptar as medidas necessarias para realisar immediatamente o Artigo x do Tratado de París, que estipula a restituição da Guyana Franceza a Sua Magestade Christianissima; e Sua Magestade Britannica promette a Sua mediação, segundo o conteudo do referido Artigo, para obter quanto antes um amigavel arranjo da disputa existente entre Sua Alteza Real o Principe Regente de Portugal e Sua Magestade Christianissima, emquanto ás fronteiras de Suas respectivas possessões d'aquelle lado, em conformidade do que se acha disposto pelo Artigo VIII do Tratado de Utrecht. ART. II. Sua Alteza Real Se obriga a dar pleno e completo effeito á declaração feita no Artigo 1x do Tratado de Alliança concluido no Rio de Janeiro, aos 19 de Fevereiro de 1810, relativamente á Inquisição ou Tribunal do Santo Officio; o The present additional Article shall have the same force and effect as if it were inserted word for word in the Treaty signed this day, and shall be ratified, and the ratifications exchanged at the same time. Castlereagh. 1815 Janeiro 22 Secret Articles. ART. I. It is hereby agreed, on the part of the Prince Regent of Portugal, that His Royal Highness will adopt the necessary measures for giving immediate effect to the 10th Article of the Treaty of Paris, which provides for the restitution of the French Guyana to His Most Christian Majesty; and His Britannic Majesty promises to employ His mediation, in conformity with the provisions of the said Article, to procure an early and friendly arrangement of the dispute subsisting between the Prince Regent of Portugal and His Most Christian Majesty on the subject of the frontier of Their respective possessions in that quarter, as regulated by the 8th Article of the Treaty of Utrecht. ART. II. It is hereby agreed, on the part of the Prince Regent of Portugal, to give full and complete effect to the declaration made by His Royal Highness in the 9th Article of the Treaty of Alliance concluded at Rio de Janeiro, on the 19th 1815 Janeiro qual Artigo se renova aqui, e se declara continuar em força. Fica porém entendido que, no caso de Sua Alteza Real, de Seu motu proprio, abolir a dita Inquisição em todos os Seus Dominios em geral, este Artigo se suspende e se invalida emquanto aquella abolição continuar em vigor. ART. III. No caso de alguns navios Portuguezes serem capturados pelos cruzadores de Sua Magestade Britannica (debaixo das circumstancias designadas na Convenção concluida aos 21 do corrente entre Sua Alteza Real o Principe Regente de Portugal e Sua Magestade Britannica) desde o 1.o de Junho de 1814, como se especifica na referida Convenção, até ao periodo da abolição total do commercio de escravos ao Norte do Equador, segundo o pactuado no presente Tratado, Sua Magestade Britannica Se obriga a satisfazer ás justas reclamações de Sua Alteza Real a esse respeito. Os presentes tres Artigos secretos terão o mesmo vigor e effeito como se tivessem sido inseridos palavra por palavra no Tratado patente, assignado no dia de hoje; e serão ratificados, e as ratificações trocadas ao mesmo tempo. February 1810, with respect to the Inquisition or Tribunal of the Holy Office; which Article is hereby renewed and declared to be in force. It is, however, understood that in the event of His Royal Highness spontaneously abolishing the said Inquisition throughout His Dominions generally, this Article shall remain suspended and be of no effect, so long as such abolition shall continue to be in force. ART. III. It is hereby agreed, that in case any Portuguese vessels shall be captured by His Britannic Majesty's cruizers (under the circumstances described in the Convention concluded on the 21.st of this month between the Prince Regent of Portugal and His Britannic Majesty) from the 1.st of June 1814, as specified in the said Convention, down to the period of the total abolition of the slave-trade to the North of the Equator, as provided for under the present Treaty, His Britannic Majesty engages to satisfy the just reclamations of the Court of Portugal on that account. Castlereagh. 1815 Janeiro 22 DECLARAÇÃO DAS POTENCIAS SIGNATARIAS DO TRA 1815 Marco 18 (ARCHIVO DA SECRETARIA D'ESTADO DOS NEGOCIOS ESTRANGEIROS - COPIA) Les Puissances qui ont signé le Traité de Paris, reu nies en congrès à Vienne, informées de l'évasion de Napoléon Bonaparte et de son entrée à main armée en France, doivent à leur propre dignité et à l'intérêt de l'ordre social une déclaration solennelle des sentiments que cet évènement leur a fait éprouver. En rompant ainsi la convention qui l'avait établi à l'Ile d'Elbe, Bonaparte détruit le seul titre légal auquel son existence se trouvait attachée. En reparaissant en France, avec des projects de troubles et de bouleversements, il s'est privé lui-même de la protection des lois, et a manifesté, à la face de l'univers, qu'il ne saurait avoir ni paix ni trêve avec lui. Et quoique intimement persuadés, que la France entière, se ralliant autour de son Souverain légitime, fera incessamment rentrer dans le néant cette dernière tentative d'un délire criminel et impuissant, tous les Souverains de l'Europe, animés des mêmes sentiments et guidés par les mêmes principes, déclarent, que si, contre tout calcul, il pouvait résulter de cet évènement un danger réel quelconque, ils seraient prêts à donner au Roi de France et à la Nation Française, ou à tout autre Gouvernement attaqué, dès que la demande en serait formée, les secours nécessaires pour rétablir la tranquillité publique, et à faire cause commune contre tous ceux qui entreprendraient de la compromettre.
