Monday Evening, November 9 BOSTON CITY CLUB NIGHT AT THE BOSTON THEATRE Through the courtesy of the management, there is to be presented to the members of the Club "IL TROVATORE," with a strong cast. Special prices have been made at $1.50 and $1.00 for orchestra seats. The sale of tickets will open at the Club House at 10.30 Friday morning, NOVEMBER 6. The entire orchestra is to be reserved for Club members and their friends. Thursday Evening, November 12 MR. B. R. BAUMGARDT will deliver an ILLUSTRATED LECTURE on the always interesting subject of NAPOLEON BONAPARTE Mr. Baumgardt takes rank with the foremost lecturers in the land. His personality, together with the magnificent pictures of the Napoleonic era, will make this lecture of unusual interest at the present time. A dinner will be tendered Mr. Baumgardt at 6 o'clock. DAVID STARR JORDAN Formerly President of Leland Stanford University, California Dr. Jordan has recently returned from an extended tour of Europe, SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Friday, November 20 COLLEGE NIGHT The Entertainment Committee has arranged to entertain the Presidents of fifteen New England colleges at dinner. The Presidents of the following colleges will attend: Members of the Club and their friends who are Alumni of these colleges are requested to be present and assemble in their respective cheering sections for dinner.
