I. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall unlawfully maliciously set fire to any Mine of Coal or Cannel Coal, every h Offender shall be guilty of Felony, and being convicted reof, shall suffer Death as a Felon. VII. VIII. And

Destroying VIII. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall unlawy any Engine, and maliciously pull down or destroy, or damage with Inter Erection, &c. used in any destroy or to render useless, any Steam Engine, or other Ere Mine, Felony, or any Shaft, Passage, Drain, or Level for sinking, draining punishable by working any Mine, or any Staith, Building, or Erection e Transportation. conducting the Business of any Mine, or any Bridge, W way, or Trunk for conveying Minerals from any Mine, wie such Engine, Staith, Building, Erection, Bridge, Waggon Trunk be completed, or in an unfinished State, every suc fender shall be guilty of Felony, and being convicted the shall be liable to any of the Punishments which the Cour award, as hereinbefore last mentioned.

IX. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall unlawi and maliciously set fire to, or in anywise destroy any Sh Vessel, whether the same be complete or in an unfinished Sz or shall unlawfully and maliciously set fire to, cast away, anywise destroy any Ship or Vessel, every such Offender sha guilty of Felony, and being convicted thereof, shall suffer D as a Felon.

XI. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall exhibit r false Light or Signal, with Intent to bring any Ship or Vessel Danger, or shall unlawfully and maliciously do any thing tend to the immediate Loss or Destruction of any Ship or Vesse Distress, or shall destroy any Part of any Ship or Vessel whe shall be in Distress, or wrecked, stranded, or cast on Shore." shall destroy any Goods, Merchandize, or Articles of any K belonging to such Ship or Vessel, or shall by Force prevent. impede any Person endeavouring to save his Life from such or Vessel (whether he shall be on board or shall have quitted same), every such Offender shall be guilty of Felony, and be convicted thereof, shall suffer Death as a Felon.

XII. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall unlawf and maliciously break down or cut down any Sea Bank or Wall, or the Bank or Wall of any River, Canal, or Marsh, where by any Lands shall be overflowed or damaged, or shall be in di ger of being so, or shall unlawfully and maliciously throw dow level, undermine, or otherwise destroy any Lock, Sluice, Wea Tunnel, Towing Path, Floodgate, Aqueduct, Reservoir, Cut, Dan Drain, Watercourse, or other Work on any navigable River a Canal, every such Person shall be guilty of Felony, and be convicted thereof, shall be liable, at the Discretion of the Court to be transported beyond the Seas for Life, or for any Term no less than Seven Years, or to be imprisoned for any Term not ex ceeding Four Years, and if a Male to be Once, Twice, or Thrice

Millpond, every such Offender shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor,
and being convicted thereof, shall be liable, at the Discretion of
the Court, to be transported beyond the Seas for the Term of
Seven Years, or to be imprisoned for any Term not exceeding
Two Years, and if a Male to be Once, Twice, or Thrice publicly

XVIII. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall uniss and maliciously set fire to any Stack of Čorn, Grain, Pulse. XX. XXI. And be it enacted, That if any Person shall unlawf and maliciously destroy, or damage with Intent to destroy, Plant, Fruit, or Vegetable Production growing in any Garde Orchard, Nursery Ground, Hothouse, Greenhouse, or Conse vatory, every such Offender, being convicted thereof before & Justice or Justices of the Peace, shall, at the Discretion of the
