and shores within the county of Duke's county. The district of
New Bedford sball include all the waters and shores within the
towns of New Bedford, Dartmouth, Westport, Rochester, and

shores on Taunion river, and in the town of Rehoboth. The
district of Waldoborough shall include all the waters and shores
from the middle of Damarascotty river, to the southwardly side

§ 9. That the state of Delaware shall be one district, and the District of borough of Wilmington shall be the only port of entry to which Delaware ; shall be annexed New Castle and Port Penn, as ports of delivery ports of entry only; and a collector for the district shall be appointed, to re- collector, &c. side at the said port of Wilmington.

That in the state of Maryland there shall be ten districts, Districts in to wit : Baltimore, Chester, Oxford, Vienna, Snowhill, Annapolis, Maryland: Nouingham, Nanjemoy, Georgetown, and Havre de Grace. The ports of entry district of Baltimore shall include Patapsco river, Turkey Point, and delivery; Spes Uriæ Island, and all the waters and shores on the west side District of of Chesapeake Bay, from the mouth of Mageliy river, which Baltimore. shall not be included in the district of Havre de Grace; and a collector, naval officer, and surveyor, for the district, shall be appointed, to reside at Baltimore, which shall be the sole port of entry. The district of Chester shall include Chester river and District of all the waters and shores on the eastern side of Chesapeake Bay, Chester. from the south side of Elk river, to the norih side of the Eastern Bay, and Wye river, inclusive ; in which Georgetown, on Sassa. fras river, shall be a port of delivery only, and a collector for the district shall be appointed, to reside at Chester, which shall be the sole port of entry.

The district of Oxford shall include all District of the waters and shores on the eastern side of Chesapeake Bay, Oxford. from the north of Wye river, and the Eastern Bay, to the Vol. ii. p. 892. south side of Great Choptank river, inclusive ; and Cambridge shall be a port of delivery only; and a collector for the district shall be appointed, lo reside at Oxford, which shall be the sole port of entry. The district of Vienna shall include all the wa- District of Vilers and shores on the eastern side of Chesapeake Bay, from the enna. south side of Great Choplank river, 10 the south side of Hooper's . Virginia to the south line of Delaware, together with all the waters and shores on the eastern side of Chesapeake Bay, from the south side of Wicomico river to the souih side of Pocomoke ri. ver, inclusive, so far as the jurisdiction of the said state of Maryland extends, to which Sinnipuxent shall be a port of delivery for West India produce only; and a collector for the district shall be appointed, to reside ai Snowhill, which shall be the sole port of entry. The district of Annapolis shall include Magetty District of river, and all the waters and shores from thence to Drum Point, Annapolis.
