I package gelatine, I pint cold water, soak for one hour, add 1 teaspoonful salt, 1⁄2 teaspoonful Tabasco Sauce, the juice of 3 lemons, 1 teaspoonful of sugar, 1 qt. boiling water in which has been dissolved I teaspoonful of Armour's Extract of Beef. Let stand in cold place until formed into a jelly. Serve ice cold. ICE COLD BOUILLON. Dissolve I teaspoonful of Armour's Extract of Beef in 1⁄2 cup boiling water, add 1 qt. cold water well salted, a few drops of Tabasco Sauce, celery salt to taste. Serve ice cold. If desired, the juice of one lemon can be added to this.
