Yna y darllenir yn llawn llythyr, â lleferydd uchel, y Llith gyntaf, gwedi ei chymmeryd allan o'r Hen Destament, megis ag yr appwynti

wyd wrth y Calendar (oddieithr bod Llithiau priod gosodedig i'r Dydd hwnnw.) Y Gweinidog a ddarlleno, safed, ac ymchweled, megis y galler ei glywed yn oreu gan bawb oll a'r a fo yn bresennol. Ac ar ol hynny y dywedir, neu y cenir, yn Gymraeg, yr Emyn a elwir, Te Deum Laudamus, beunydd trwy'r holl flwyddyn.

O flaen pob Llith, y Gweinidog a ddywaid, Yma y mae yn dechreu y cyfryw Bennod, neu Adnod o'r cyfryw Bennod, o'r Llyfr a'r Llyfr: ac ar ol pob Llith, Yma y terfyn y Llith gyntaf, neu, yr ail.

Pan gymmeraist arnat waredu dyn: ni ddïystyraist fru y Wyryf.

Pan orchfygaist holl nerth angau: yr agoraist Deyrnas Nef i bawb a gredant.

Ti sydd yn eistedd ar Ddeheulaw Duw: y'ngogoniant y Tad.

Yr ŷm ni yn credu mai Tydi a ddaw: yn Farnwr arnom.

Gan hynny yr attolygwn i ti gynnorthwyo dy weision: y rhai a brynaist a'th werthfawr Waed. Pâr iddynt gael eu cyfrif gyda'th Saint: yn y Gogoniant tragywyddol.

Arglwydd, cadw dy bobl : a bendithia dy etifeddiaeth.

Llywia hwy: a dyrcha hwy yn dragywydd.

Beunydd ac fyth: y clodforwn dydi;

Ac anrhydeddwn dy Enw : byth ac yn oes oesoedd.

Teilynga, Arglwydd : ein cadw y dydd hwn yn ddibechod. Arglwydd, trugarha wrthym: trugarha wrthym.

Arglwydd, poed dy drugaredd a ddėl arnom: megis yr ym yn ymddiried ynot.

Arglwydd, ynot yr ymddiriedais: na'm gwaradwydder yn dragywydd.

The noble army of Martyrs :

praise thee.

The holy Church throughout all the world: doth acknowledge thee;

The Father of an infinite Majesty;

Thine honourable, true : and only Son;

Also the Holy Ghost: the Comforter.

Thou art the King of Glory : O Christ.

Thou art the everlasting Son : of the Father.

When thou tookest upon thee to deliver man: thou didst not abhor the Virgin's womb.

When thou hadst overcome the sharpness of death: thou didst open the Kingdom of Heaven to all believers.

Thou sittest at the right hand of God: in the Glory of the Father.

We believe that thou shalt come: to be our Judge.

We therefore pray thee, help thy servants: whom thou hast redeemed with thy precious blood.

Make them to be numbered with thy Saints: in glory everlasting.

O Lord, save thy people: and bless thine heritage.

Govern them and lift them up for ever.

Day by day: we magnify thee;

And we worship thy Name : ever world without end. Vouchsafe, O Lord: to keep us this day without sin.

O Lord, have mercy upon us : have mercy upon us.

O Lord, let thy mercy lighten upon us: as our trust is in thee.

O Lord, in thee have I trusted: let me never be confounded.

ENDIGEDIG fyddo Arglwydd Dduw Israel: canys efe a ymwelodd ac a brynodd ei bobl;

Ac a ddyrchafodd iachawdwriaeth nerthol i ni: yn nhŷ Dafydd ei wasanaethwr;

Megis y dywedodd trwy enau ei sanctaidd Brophwydi: y rhai oedd o ddechreuad y byd;

Yr anfonai efe i ni ymwared rhag ein gelynion : ac oddiwrth ddwylaw pawb o'n digasogion;

Y gwnai efe drugaredd â'n tadau: ac y cofiai ei sanctaidd Gyfammod;

A'r llw yr hwn a dyngodd efe wrth ein tad Abraham: sef bod iddo ganiattâu i ni, gwedi ein

magnify him for ever.

O ye Servants of the Lord, bless ye the Lord: praise him, and magnify him for ever.

O Spirits and Souls of the Righteous, bless ye the Lord: praise him, and magnify him

for ever.

O ye holy and humble men of heart, bless ye the Lord praise him, and magnify him for ever.

O Ananias, Azarias, and Misael, bless ye the Lord: praise him, and magnify him for

ever.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

Then shall be read in like manner the Second Lesson, taken out of the New Testament. And after that, the Hymn following; except when that shall happen to be read in the Chapter for the Day, or for the Gospel on St. John Baptist's Day.

Benedictus. St. Luke i. 68. LESSED be the Lord God of Israel: for he hath visited, and redeemed his people;

And hath raised up a mighty salvation for us: in the house of his servant David;

As he spake by the mouth of his holy Prophets: which have been since the world began;

That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hands of all that hate us;

To perform the mercy promised to our forefathers: and to remember his holy Covenant;

To perform the oath which he sware to our forefather Abraham: that he would give us;
