megis y danfonodd y Tad fi, yr wyf finnau yn eich danfon chwi. Ac wedi iddo ddywedyd hyn, efe a anadlodd arnynt, ac a ddywed odd wrthynt, Derbyniwch yr Yspryd Glân. Pwy bynnag y maddeuoch eu pechodau, maddeuir iddynt; a'r eiddo pwy bynnag a attalioch, hwy a attaliwyd. Yr ail Sul ar ol y Pasc. HOLL-alluog Dduw, yr hwn a roddaist dy un Mab i ni yn aberth dros bechod, ac hefyd yn esampl 0 fuchedd dduwiol; Dyro i ni râs, fel y gallom byth yn ddiolchgar dderbyn ei annhraethol lesâd ef; ac hefyd beunydd ymrôi i ganlyn bendigedig lwybrau ei wîr lanaf fuchedd ef; trwy yr un Iesu Grist ein Harglwydd. Amen. Yr Epistol.1 St. Petr ii. 19. HYN YN sydd rasol, Os yw neb o herwydd cydwybod i Dduw yn dwyn tristwch, gan ddioddef ar gam. Oblegid pa glod yw, os pan bechoch, a chael eich cernodio, y byddwch dda eich amynedd? eithr os a chwi yn gwneuthur yn dda, ac yn dioddef, y byddwch dda eich amynedd, hyn sydd rasol ger bron Duw. Canys i hyn y'ch galwyd hefyd; oblegid Crist yntau a ddioddefodd trosom ni, gan adael i ni esampl, fel y canlynech ei ol ef: yr hwn ni wnaeth bechod, ac ni chaed twyll yn ei enau: yr hwn pan ddifenwyd, ni ddifenwodd drachefn; ; pan ddioddefodd, ni fygythiodd; eithr rhoddodd ar y neb sydd yn barnu yn gyfiawn: yr hwn ei hun a ddug ein pechodau ni yn ei gorph ar y pren, fel, gwedi ein marw i bechodau, y byddem byw i gyfiawnder; trwy gleisiau yr hwn yr iachawyd chwi. Canys yr oeddych megis defaid Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the holy Ghost. Whosesoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosesoever sins ye retain, they are retained. The second Sunday after Easter. The Collect. A LMIGHTY God, who hast given thine only Son to be unto us both a sacrifice for sin, and also an ensample of godly life; Give us grace that we may always most thankfully receive that his inestimable benefit, and also daily endeavour ourselves to follow the blessed steps of his most holy life; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. The Epistle. 1 St. Pet. ii. 19. thank-worthy, if a THIS ist man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently; this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; CRIST yn awr chwi a ddychwelwyd at Shepherd and Bishop of your Fugail ac Esgob eich eneidiau. Yr Efengyl. St. John x. 11. ddywedodd, Myfi a yw'r bugail da: y bugail da sydd yn rhoddi ei einioes dros y defaid. Eithr y gwas cyflog, a'r hwn nid yw fugail, yr hwn nid eiddo y defaid, sydd yn gweled y blaidd yn dyfod, ac yn gadael y defaid, ac yn ffoi; a'r blaidd sydd yn eu hysglyfio hwy, ac yn tarfu'r defaid. Y mae'r gwas cyflog yn ffoi, oblegid mai gwas cyflog yw, ac nid oes ofal arno am y defaid. Myfi yw'r bugail da; ac a adwaen yr eiddof fi, ac a'm hadwaenir gan yr eiddof fi. Fel yr edwyn y Tad fyfi, felly yr adwaen innau y Tad: ac yr ydwyf yn rhoddi fy einioes dros y defaid. A defaid eraill sy gennyf, y rhai nid ŷnt o'r gorlan hon: y rhai hynny hefyd sy raid i mi eu cyrchu; a'm llais i a wrandawant; a bydd un gorlan, ac un bugail. Y trydydd Sul ar ol y Pasc. HOLL-alluog Dduw, yr hwn dangos i'r sawl sy ar gyfeiliorn, lewyrch dy wirionedd, er eu dwyn i ffordd cyfiawnder; Caniatta i bawb a dderbynier i gymdeithas Crefydd Crist, allu o honynt ymogelyd y cyfryw bethau a'r y sydd wrthwyneb i'w proffes, a chanlyn y sawl bethau oll a'r a fyddo yn cyttuno â'r unrhyw; w; trwy ein Harglwydd Iesu Grist. A men. Yr Epistol. 1 St. Petr ii. 11. J am The souls. The Gospel. St. John x. 11. ESUS said, I the good shepherd : the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth; and wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. The third Sunday after Easter. The Collect. God, who shewest to them that be in error the light of thy truth, to the intent that they may return into the way of righteousness; Grant unto all them that are admitted into the fellowship of Christ's Religion, that they may eschew those things that are contrary to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. The Epistle. 1 St. Pet. ii. 11. ANWYLYD, yr wyf yn DEARLY beloved, I beseech chwi, megis dieithriaid a phererinion, ymgedwch oddiwrth chwantau cnawdol, y rhai sy yn rhyfela yn erbyn yr enaid; gan fod a'ch ymarweddiad yn onest ym mysg y Cenhedloedd; fel, lle maent yn strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles; that, whereas they speak against you as evil doers, they ai eich goganu megis drwg-weithredwŷr, y gallont, o herwydd eich gweithredoedd da a welant, ogoneddu Duw yn nydd yr ymweliad. Ymddarostyngwch oblegid hyn i bob dynol ordinhad, o herwydd yr Arglwydd: pa un bynnag ai i'r brenhin, megis goruchaf; i'r llywiawdwŷr, megis trwyddo ef wedi eu danfon; er dial ar y drwg-weithredwŷr, a mawl i'r gweithredwŷr da. Canys felly y mae ewyllys Duw, fod i chwi, trwy wneuthur daioni, ostegu anwybodaeth dynion ffolion: megis yn rhyddion, ac nid â rhyddid gennych megis cochl malais; eithr fel gwasanaethwŷr Duw. Perchwch bawb. Cerwch y brawdoliaeth. Ofnwch Dduw. Anrhydeddwch y brenhin. Yr Efengyl. St. Ioan xvi. 16. R Iesu a ddywedodd wrth ei mae efe ac ni'm gwelwch; a thrachefn, ychydig ennyd, a chwi a'm gwelwch: am fy mod yn myned at y Tad. Am hynny y dywedodd rhai o'i ddisgyblion wrth eu gilydd, Beth yw hyn y mae efe yn ei ddywedyd wrthym, Ychydig ennyd, ac ni'm gwelwch; a thrachefn, ychydig ennyd, a chwi a'm gwelwch; ac, Am fy mod yn myned at y Tad? Am hynny hwy a ddywedasant, sant, Beth th yw hyn y yn ei ddywedyd, ychydig ennyd? ni wyddom ni beth y mae efe yn ei ddywedyd. Yna y gwybu'r Iesu eu bod hwy yn ewyllysio gofyn iddo; ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Ai ymofyn yr ydych a'ch gilydd am hyn, oblegid i mi ddywedyd, Ychydig ennyd, ac ni'm gwelwch; a thrachefn, ychydig ennyd, a chwi a'm gwelwch? Yn wir, yn wîr, meddaf i chwi, Chwi a wylwch, ac a alerwch; a'r byd a lawenycha: eithr chwi a fydd wch dristion, ond eich tristwch a may, by your good works which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake; whether it be to the King, as supreme; or unto governours, as unto them that are sent by him, for the punishment of evil doers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness; but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the King. The Gospel. St. John xvi. 16. ESUS said to his disciples, J A little while and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while and ye shall see me; because I go to the Father. Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while and ye shall see me; and, Because I go to the Father? They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith. Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while and ye shall see me? Verily, verily I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman, when she is in traesgor sydd mewn tristwch, am ddyfod ei hawr: eithr wedi geni y plentyn, nid yw hi yn cofio ei gofid mwyach, gan lawenydd geni dyn i'r byd. A chwithau am hynny ydych yr awrhon mewn tristwch: eithr mi a ymwelaf â chwi drachefn; a'ch calon a lawenycha, a'ch llawenydd ni ddwg neb oddiarnoch. Y pedwerydd Sul ar ol y Pasc. HOLL-alluog Dduw, yr hwn yn unig bïau llywodraethu afreolus chwantau a gwŷniau dynion pechadurus; Caniatta i'th bobl, fod iddynt garu yr hyn yr wyt yn ei orchymmyn, a deisyfu yr hyn yr wyt yn ei addaw; fel, ym mhlith amrafael ac aml ddamweiniau'r byd, y gallo'n calonnau gwbl aros yno lle y mae gwîr lawenydd i'w gaffael; trwy Iesu Grist ein Harglwydd. Amen. POB Yr Epistol. St. Iago i. 17. DOB rhoddiad daionus, a phob rhodd berffaith, oddiuchod y mae, yn disgyn oddiwrth Dad y goleuni, gyda'r hwn nid oes gyfnewidiad, na chysgod tröedigaeth. O'i wîr ewyllys yr ynnillodd efe nyni, trwy air y gwirionedd, fel y byddem ryw flaenffrwyth o'i greaduriaid ef. O achos hyn, fy mrodyr anwyl, bydded pob dyn esgud i wrando, diog i lefaru, dïog i ddigofaint. Canys digofaint gwr, nid yw yn cyflawni cyfiawnder Duw. Oherwydd paham, rhoddwch heibio bob budreddi, a helaethrwydd malais, a thrwy addfwynder derbyniwch yri impiedig air, yr hwn a ddichon gadw eich eneidiau. Yr Efengyl. St. Ioan xvi. 5. yn myned at yr hwn am hanfon hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. The fourth Sunday after Easter. The Collect. Almighty God, who alone canst order the unruly wills and affections of sinful men; Grant unto thy people, that they may love the thing which thou commandest, and desire that which thou dost promise; that so, among the sundry and manifold changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed, where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. E The Epistle, St. James i. 17. VERY good gift, and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the Word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls. The Gospel. St. John xvi. 5. J ESUS said unto his disciples, Now I go my way to him that sent me, and none of you odd; ac nid yw neb o honoch yn gofyn i mi, I ba le yr wyt ti yn myned? eithr am i mi ddywedyd y pethau hyn i chwi, tristwch a lanwodd eich calon. Ond yr wyf fi yn dywedyd gwirionedd i chwi; Buddiol yw i chwi fy myned i ymaith: canys onid af fi, ni ddaw y Diddanydd attoch; eithr os mi a af, mi a'i hanfonaf ef attoch. A phan ddêl, efe a argyoedda'r byd o bechod, ac o gyfiawnder, ac o farn: o bechod, am nad ydynt yn credu ynof fi; o gyfiawnder, am fy mod yn myned at fy Nhad, ac ni'm gwelwch i mwyach; o farn, oblegid tywysog y byd hwn a farnwyd. Y mae gennyf etto lawer o bethau i'w dywedyd i chwi, ond ni ellwch eudwyn yr awrhon. Ond pan ddel efe, sef Yspryd y gwirionedd, efe a'ch tywys chwi i bob gwirionedd: canys ni lefara o hono ei hun; ond pa bethau bynnag a glywo, a lefara efe, a'r pethau sy i ddyfod a fynega efe i chwi. Efe a'm gogonedda i: canys efe a gymmer o'r eiddof, ac a'i mynega i chwi. Yr holl bethau sy eiddo'r Tad, ydynt eiddof fi: o herwydd hyn y dywedais, mai o'r eiddof fi y cymmer, ac y mynega i chwi. Y pummed Sul ar ol y Pasc. Arglwydd, oddiwrth ba un y daw pob daioni: Caniatta i ni, dy ufudd weision, allu o honom, trwy dy sanctaidd ysprydoliaeth di, feddwl y pethau a fo uniawn; a thrwy dy amgeleddus dywysogaeth eu gwneuthur yn ddibennus; trwy ein Harglwydd Iesu Grist. Amen. Yr Epistol. St. Iago i. 22. YDDWCH wneuthurwyr y gair, ac nid gwrandawŷr yn unig, gan eich twyllo eich hunain. BYDDWCH asketh me, Whither goest thou ? But, because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement: of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. The fifth Sunday after Easter. O Lord, from whom all good things do come; Grant us thy humble servants, that by thy holy inspiration we may think those things that be good, and by thy merciful guiding may perform the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ.
