THIS Bouquet, if approved by that liberal Public to whom it is most respectfully offered, will not be the last which the AMATEUR Will

attempt to cull. Certain Flowerets, in the event of such approval, will bloom anew at some future period-in literary phrase, (adopted in the volume) will "be continued"while other sweets, it is hoped, will not be wanting to make the complement of the succeeding Nosegay. Meanwhile, the unpretending tints in which these "First FLOWERS" are arrayed, will screen them, it is hoped, from the empoisoned breath of the hypercritical Connoisseur, and the periodical blasts of the Reviewers' rage.
