Therefore, the bills-of-fare in the Grill Room and Main Dining Room have been revised along the lines above indicated and, while members will not find so great a variety, the reduction has been mainly in the more elaborate dishes, or those that were ordered comparatively infrequently. BOWLING The Bowling Alleys were opened on Monday, September 24, and all indications point to a highly successful season. A team, captained by Mr. William Coulson, will be selected to compete in the Amateur Boston Pin League. On Monday, October 8, a tryout will be held, and all good bowlers are earnestly requested to be present so that the strongest possible team may be selected. The Bowling Committee, being especially desirous of materially bettering the previous low standing of the Club, feels confident that, with proper support, a team can be gotten together that will be among the leaders from start to finish. The House Tournament, one of the most enjoyable of Club activities, will start about the middle of October. As in former years, twelve teams will compete, and bowlers are requested to register with the attendant of the alleys. New members of the Club are urged to take up bowling from a social as well as a physical standpoint, as in no other place is the Club spirit and motto, that every member knows every other member without an introduction," observed to such an extent as on the bowling alleys. Further announcements regarding bowling activities will be made from time to time in the BULLETIN and on the blackboards in the alleys. THE BOWLING COMMITTEE.
