CHAP. 252.—An act to remove the political disabilities of Samuel Jones, of Virginia Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, (two-thirds of each House con curring therein) That all political disabilities imposed upon Samuel ities of Samuel Jones, of Virginia, by the fourteenth amendment of the Constitution of the United States, by reason of participation in the rebellion, are hereby removed.

Political disabilities of Thomas H.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, (two-thirds of each House concurring therein) That Thomas H. Williams, of the State of Maryland, be, Williams removed. and is hereby, relieved of all political disabilities imposed by the third section of the fourteenth article of amendments to the Constitution of the United States.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to pay, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the several persons in this act named, the several sums mentioned therein, the same being in Appropriation full for, and the receipt of the same to be taken and accepted in each claims allowed by for payment of case as a full and final discharge of, the several claims presented by such Southern Claims persons to the Commissioners of Claims under the act of March third, Commission to pereighteen hundred and seventy-one, and reported to the House of Rep. sons inresentatives under the said act; that is to say:
