Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Peter Fillion, late of Company B, One hundred and forty-fifth Regiment Ind.na Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Benjamin R. Little, late of Company E, Eighty-fifth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charles E. Likes, late of Company E, One hundred and twenty-second Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

King, late of Company I, Twenty-first Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Rearden, late colonel Twenty-ninth Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. CHAP. 148.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Andrew Ivory. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 135.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Andrew Ivory, late second lieutenant Company G, Eleventh Regiment Pennsylvania Reserve Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 136.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Laura F. Hine, widow of Howard L. Hine, late commissary sergeant and second lieutenant Company F, Twelfth Regiment Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, February 3, 1904.

CHAP. 154.-An Act For the relief of Vincenzo Gerardi, of Washington, District of Columbia.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That all real estate lying in the District of Columbia heretofore purchased and conveyed to Vincenzo Gerardi, of said District, prior to the passage of this Act, be relieved and exempted from the operation of an Act entitled "An Act to restrict the ownership of real estate in the Territories to American citizens," approved March third, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, and all forfeitures incurred by force of said Act are in respect of such real estate hereby remitted.

Dickey, late of Company E, Fourth Regiment New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Cynthia Thomas, widow of Charles Thomas, alias John Young, late of Company D, Eighth Regiment United States Infantry, Florida Indian war, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Adams, late captain Company I, First Regiment Missouri Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Brown, late of Company G, First Regiment Virginia Volunteers, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. laws, the name of Mary T. Strickland, widow of Silas A. Strickland, late colonel Fiftieth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
