Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Joseph G. Thomas, late of Company I, Fifty-fourth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Frederick A. 8 States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Frederick A. Slocum, late of Company B, Seventh Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Edwin Lake, late of Company D, Eighth Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Slade, late of Company D, Two hundred and second Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that. he is now receiving.

laws, the name of Wilfred C. McCardell, late of Company I, First Regiment Maryland Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, March 16, 1904.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitation of the pension laws, the name of William Brown, late first lieutenant Company F, Thirteenth Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 542.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Henry H. Barrett, late of Captain R. L. Williams's company, Ninth Regiment Oregon Militia Volunteers, Oregon Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

D. Nugent, widow of Robert Nugent, late colonel Sixty-ninth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry and brevet brigadier-general United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
