CHAP. 1284.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Stephen Bricker.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Stephen Bricker, late of Company K, Fifteenth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Richardson, late of Company B, Ninth Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, and Company A, Thirtieth Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Mounted Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Ellis, late second lieutenant Company H, One hundred and seventy-fifth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 1176.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Maggie E. Carter, widow of Samuel B. Carter, late of Company B, Fifty-seventh Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: Provided, That in the event of the death of Ora Agnes Carter, helpless and dependent daughter of child." said Samuel B. Carter, the additional pension herein granted shall cease and determine: And provided further, That in the event of the death pension on death of of Maggie E. Carter the name of said Ora Agnes Carter shall be placed mother.
