CHAP. 1509.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Robert Whitman. [H. R. 2150.) (Private, No. 1349.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United

States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the

pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Robert Whitman, late of Company I, Sixty-eighth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alexander D. Ramsey, late of Company I, Twentieth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the

pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Catherine Bowsher, widow of Jesse Bowsher, late captain Company F, Fifty-fifth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Isaac N. Willhite, late of Company E, Fifty-sixth Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Howe, late of Company K, Sixteenth Regiment l'nited States Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is Dow receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Andrew Sullenberger, late of Company D, Second Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. laws, the name of Benjamin F. Barrett, late of Company I, Third Regiment Missouri State Militia Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Denston, widow of Benjamin P. Denston, late of Company K, First Regiment Eastern Shore Maryland Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.
