CHAP. 96.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Merritt Mead.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Merritt Mead, late of Company K, One hundred and thirty-fifth Regiment, and Company D, One hundred and ninetyeighth Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary E. Weaver, widow of John F. Weaver, late of Company E, Fifth Regiment Pennsylvania Reserve Volunteer In

fantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month

in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lorenzo Streeter, late of Company H, Thirty-seventh Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. laws, the name of John McGregor, late of Company D, Nineteenth
Regiment, and Company I, Twentieth Regiment, Indiana Volunteer
Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per
month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 80.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Joseph H. Shay, late of Company E, First Regiment Colorado Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, January 23, 1905.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the George W. Stanfield. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of George W. Stanfield, late of Company H, One hundred and twentieth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

CHAP. 104.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Agnes B. Hesler.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Agnes B. Hesler, widow of Frederick Alexander Hesler, late surgeon United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty-five dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of said Frederick Alexander Hesler until she reaches the age of sixteen years.
