BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 21st day of September, A. D. 1824, in the forty-ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America, Henry Wheaton, of the said district, bath deposited in this office the title of a book, the right whereof he claims as author, in the words following, to wit:

*Reports of Cases argued and adjudged in the Supreme Court of the United States, February Term, 1824. By Henry Wheaton, Counsellor at Law. Volume IX"

In conformity to the act of Congress of the United States, entitled, " An act for the encouragement of learning, by securing the coples of maps, charts, and books, to the authors and proprietors of such coples, during the time therein mentioned." And also to an acı, entitled, "An act supplementary to an act, entitled, an act for the encouragement of learni g, by securing the coples of maps, charts, and books, to the authors and proprietors of such copies, during the times therein mentioned, and tending the benefits thereof to the arts of designing, engraving, and etching historical and other prints."
