HEN Patty came down to breakfast the

next morning, she looked like a wilted flower. All the color was gone from her dear little cheeks. Her eyes shone large and dark under her cropped hair, and her little lip dropped in a grievous fashion. That was the way Patty always looked when she had been doing wrong, and had "found herself out."
