There is a considerable quantity of moisture in the atmosphere, and some downfal may be looked for. About the 8th or 9th days the tem preature of the air will be low, with sharp and strong winds. As the month advances the air will get a little dryer, but we think the whole month will be rather winterly. High tides at the new moon of this month. A considerable quantity of moisture is still in the atmosphere, and although no very great quantity of downfal may take place, the weather will be dull, heavy, and unpleasant. It may be a little finer about the 7th or 8th days, but this state of the air will not continue very long, and the latter part of the month will be wet and unpleasant, but there will be at this time more wind, which will have a tendency to clear the air. The air may get a little dryer as the month advances, but after the 21st. east winds will be very prevalent, and thus cause a cold and unpleasant temperature of the air, which is frequently so very common in the latter part of the month of March. |
