Very cold, and inclined to storm, on the 5th ; at least the temperature will be very low as the month advances. Stormy weather may be looked for after the 18th or 19th days. About the 23rd or 24th the weather will get milder and finer, but on the whole we think the present January will be as stormy and cold or even more so than we have had it at this season of the year for some time Very high tides may be looked for about the 18th, if the wind be west or north-west. |
