ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER OF THE DAY 14.01 STATEMENT OF POLICY M-1, Part II a. The Manager of a domiciliary will designate a responsible employee as Administrative Officer of the Day, to be in charge of the station at times other than official duty hours and on weekends and holidays. b. At centers with Domiciliary Sections, the Medical Officer of the Day may be supplemented by the designation of an Administrative Officer of the Day at the discretion of the Manager. (See DM&S Manual M-2, pt. I.) C. Administrative Officers of the Day may be subject to call for emergency service, but will not be confined to quarters and thus unable to follow their own pursuits. 14.02 MEAL AND "STANDBY" TIME LIMITATIONS a. The Administrative Officer of the Day may be authorized to partake of one meal in the domiciliary dining room during his tour of duty for the purpose of determining the quality of the food. b. The Administrative Officer of the Day will be considered on "standby” time only for the actual emergency rendered outside the administrative workday. |
